1. What we collect

• Account information: name, email address, organization details.
• Documents you upload: financial statements, contracts, and other diligence materials you choose to provide for a deal.
• Usage data: basic logs (e.g. which features are used) to operate and improve the Service.

We do not collect more than what's needed to provide the Service.

2. How we use it

We use your data to: operate the Service (process and analyze the documents you upload), respond to support requests, and improve the Service's reliability and accuracy. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your uploaded documents to train AI models beyond what's needed to generate your own results.

3. Where it's stored

Documents and data are stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (database and file storage providers) with encryption in transit and access controls limiting visibility to your own organization's members. Some document analysis is performed by third-party AI providers strictly to generate results for your request - these providers do not retain your data to train their own models beyond their standard, contractually-limited processing.

4. Who can see your data

Only members of your own organization/workspace can see your deals and documents, enforced at the database level, not just in the app's interface. Our own staff can access data only as needed to provide support or maintain the Service.

5. Data retention and deletion

You can request deletion of your account, organization, or specific documents at any time by contacting jean@alfea.io. We will delete the requested data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

If you're in the European Economic Area (or wherever else data protection law grants these rights), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact jean@alfea.io to exercise these rights; we'll respond within the timeframe applicable law requires.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version with a new effective date.
